Localis Sacramento, CA

Localis, one of Sacramento’s Michelin-starred restaurants. This project was especially meaningful, as the wood used—Claro walnut slabs—was personally milled and stored for years by Localis’ owner, making it an integral part of the restaurant’s identity.

Our scope of work included:

  • Dining tables, carefully processed and finished to highlight the natural grain and movement of the walnut.

  • A long serving bar, designed for both function and elegance, serving as a striking focal point in the restaurant.

  • Front host stand

  • A large dining table with an inset acrylic fill, designed to preserve and showcase a natural void in the slab. Using precision CNC milling, we carefully shaped the void and inset the acrylic for a seamless, glass-like effect.

This project required meticulous slab flattening, processing, and finishing, ensuring each piece retained the organic beauty of the wood while achieving a refined, high-end appearance. The result is a furniture collection that reflects Localis’ dedication to craftsmanship and locally sourced materials, embodying both nature and precision in fine dining.
